A Damp Day on The River Blackwater but Lots of Fun

Our latest group took to the water, with calm conditions and a bit of dampness in the air. We took a route down towards Osea Island, past the iconic Radio Carloline Ross Revenge and the twin generator halls of Bradwell’s power station and on towards the heart of the Blackwater, Osea Island.

Everyone had a chance to get involved with the activities on board and we were able to complete the planned journey before the rain really took hold. Winds were very light but we did manage to get sailing for a bit.

We got back to the mooring, stuck the kettle on and enjoyed a hot cup of tea with a late lunch before heading off to the Victory Pub for a beer.
