Brilliant sailing on a dull Mersea day

We had leaden skies, wind, but that cool northwesterly continued to remind us that summer is yet to come. I did wish for sunshine, and we were gifted some breaks in the cloud and sparkles on the water. Conditions for sailing were perfect, great visibility, wind that could take us up and down the River Blackwater and a fantastic crew.
