Coming back into West Mersea via Besom Creek

Coming into Besom Creek, West Mersea on a rising (neap) tide. About 3.5 hrs off the high.

Coming back into West Mersea via Besom Creek at low water needs a shallow draft and a neap low, so we stayed out an hr or so past low water before making our way back. At the end of Besom Creek is a submerged sandbank but we had a good 2m of water under us as we traversed it on our way in. Once in the creek, between 3-4m of water was available to take onto the mooring. Some lovely boats on the way in too.
