My First Channel Crossing

Eastbourne to Dieppe. Early start at 5am, on a falling tide to get out of the marina with enough water under the keel. The lock had issues that delayed us still further, making the exit decidedly dicey.

With 20kn winds behind us, out came the jib and we headed off to traverse the TSS. About 10 hours later we arrived into Dieppe, a jewel of the French coast.
